ANZ Bank interest rates announcement 27-May-09

ANZ Bank has today announced increases to its 3 years, 4 years and 5 years fixed interest rates. ANZ's 3 years fixed rate is now 6.85% pa (was 6.75% pa), 4 years fixed rate is now 7.40% pa (was 7.15% pa) and 5 years fixed is now 7.85% pa (was 7.50% pa).

Today ANZ Bank has announced reductions to its 3 months, 6 months and 12 months fixed interest rates, effective Friday 8 May 2009. ANZ's 3 months fixed rate is now 5.35% pa (was 5.65% pa), its 6 months fixed rate is now 5.45% pa (was 5.79% pa) and 12 months fixed is now 5.50% pa (was 5.79% pa).

One week since it's last interest rates hike, ANZ Bank increases its fixed interest rates again, effective immediately. The increases start from 2 years fixed, up by 0.30% to 6.25% pa and continue out to 5 years fixed, up by 0.75% to 7.50% pa. The new interest rate for ANZ FlexiPlus will come in to effect on 30 March 2009 for both new and existing ANZ customers. ANZ's Standard Variable rate is effective from Monday 30 March 2009 for existing customers.

ANZ Bank increases its longer term fixed interest rates effective Monday 23 March 2009. ANZ's 3 year fixed rate increases to 6.15% pa (from 5.99% pa), 4 year fixed increases to 6.55% pa (from 6.40% pa) and 5 years fixed increases to 6.75% pa (from 6.50% pa). The new interest rate for ANZ FlexiPlus will come in to effect on 30 March 2009 for both new and existing ANZ customers.

ANZ Bank has introduced a 3 months fixed interest rate of 5.65% pa and reduced its floating interest rates. ANZ has reduced interest rates for new lending by 0.50% pa for its floating rate loan, effective 13 March 2009. Floating interest rates for existing ANZ customers will reduce by 0.50% pa effective 30 March 2009. Revolving credit interest rates are reduced by 0.60% pa effective 30 March 2009 for both new and existing ANZ Bank customers.
